Mrs. Fox. asked:

ok as a pet lover and a human lover i love helping people out.
before i ask the question i'm going to give a little insight on the topic.

i will be purchasing a small house that will be my facility, i will be buying a fence and supplies for dogs. (collars leashes, i already have a list set up) i will also hopefully i'm applying this week for a u.s. grant to aid me in this but if i don't recieve it i'll be saving up to make this happen because i'm serious about it! but i also know i should have some money stored away incase any of the dogs has a medical emergency.

i need to make somewhat a profit so i can live, this will be my fulltime+ job. i intend to work everyday atleast 10 hours a day. i will only be charging people for dog behavioral problems which i will be taking classes to learn all about dogs and why they act the way they do. i won't take any money unless i can cure the problem.

my questoin revolves around this-i want to help people and dogs out, i want to train dogs to be seeing eye dogs, dogs for the handicapped and dogs for people who are sick and need a companion. i won't be charging for this. i have read that animals help the sick i've seen it, as i work in health care now. and i want to take some dogs around nursing homes to see patients but i really want to help the handicapped and train dogs to help them. again i will not even take a donation from these people i want to give back and help them. does anyone have any ideas on where i could find information on how to learn to teach dogs for the handicapped. any advice is welcome!!

thanks so much.
well of course they are dogs out there, like normal people with dogs with behavior problems i would try and get them to stop their bad behavior but i would only charge if i could cure whatever the problem may be. so i wouldn't make alot but i would feel so much better knowing that i helped other people that the money is only a small issue.

I find his fur all over the floor, on my clothes. I sometimes use sticky tape lint remover and get a constant supply of fur....it never ends. I have trimmed him short to help but it does little good. This is a depressing problem for me as it is constant and endless.

Poisoned dog and people food and illegal aliens any connection?

Jeffery C asked:

It seems that all the recent contaminated food (pet and people) have a strong connection to illegal aliens.

Do you think that illegals are deliberately contaminating our food supply?

Is this why the government is so pushing amnesty?

If it is true that our food will be poisoned by illegal aliens if they do not get amnesty, would you change your mind about amnesty?

Contaminating our food supply can be as easy as using a spray bottle with contaminated water to spray the food after it was washed or cooked!
You mean that the USA has NEVER deported any illegal aliens back to China?

Did I say it was illegals currently in the USA? No. And are you going to blame the E Coli on the Chinese?
Hiding your head in the sand does not make these issues go away!

Should I apologize to my wife for what happenedw/the dog last night or pretend like it never happened?

Ross asked:

My wife doesn't work over the summer and stays at home with the dog all day. Yesterday afternoon @ 4:30, she called me at work and said the dog was vomitting up worms & she was scared to touch the vomit. She said if I wasn't ready to leave work, our neighbor had offered to help her clean it up and take the dog to the vet. I told her no, I was ready to leave work so it was fine.

When I got home, I scooped up the vomit into a container and she put the dog into my car. He vomitted again in the backseat.

We got him to the vet and wife filled out all the papers, talked to the doctors, etc. The treatment ended up costing $240.00 and the actual visit took about 1.5 hours. Since I had no money because I'd just paid the mortgage, she walked to the gas station and took it out of her savings account.

Without being asked she bought me a soda and a bag full of snacks from the gas station knowing I was hungry.

When we got home, I told her to clean up the vomit in the house and I'd clean up what was in the car.

She asked if we could do it together because she was afraid of the worms. She goes,"I don't mind doing my fair share, I'm just really scared of the worms and don't want to do it alone". I snapped at her, "No, just go in your room or something", but she came outside anyway and bought me cleaning supplies for the car.

After I scooped up the intial vomit that was full of worms, she offered to scrub and sanitize the carpet but I told her to leave me alone and go back in the house because she was annoying me.

So she went to her home office and closed the door for 30 minutes. Then she ordered two pizzas, one with jalepenos the way I like it and paid for it.

I didn't talk to her the entire night, even when we ate dinner. Finally, she went and got in bed. While she was laying down I asked her, "Did you give the dog his meds?"

She said she forgot, so I rolled my eyes and sucked my teeth and went to give the medicine.

She got up and helped me, then we went to bed

I'm moving to California with my 13 pound Pekingese. He's pretty sedentary, but we do like to go for walks. Here in Minnesota I only need to use Frontline for 4 months out of the year. Will I have to purchase a year's supply for our move to the San Fransisco Bay area?
